Carmen was born in Canada, where she trained as a dancer for 15 years. She has studied tap, jazz, contemporary dance and modern jazz. She has had the opportunity to learn from teachers such as; Danny Nielsen, Lisa La Touche, Derick Grant, Trabes Knights, Dianne Walker, Brenda Buffalino and Terry Brock. Carmen was a member of The Tri-Tone Rhythm Ensemble for 4 years, directed by Tasha Lawson. In 2018 she moved to Barcelona to study on the Professional Tap Training Program at Escola Luthier de Dansa.
